Twisted Whisky Sour Cocktail

Description

One can serve a twisted whisky sour over rocks or not. It is best drunk before dinner or before a meal. When one adds egg white on top of the cocktail it becomes Boston Sour. Another variation is adding a couple of bar spoons of red wine on top of the cocktail making it New York Sour.

Ingredients

  • 45ml of red label whisky
  • 20ml lime juice
  • 30ml orange juice
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • Slice of orange to garnish
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Add the crushed ice to fill ¾ of the shaker.
  2. Add red label whisky, orange juice, lime juice and the sugar syrup into the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture well.
  4. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass which has ice.
  5. Garnish with the slice of orange and enjoy.
